On October 3rd, Champ Camp launched its very first Adventure Day, and it was a total blast! Coaches and kids alike had an incredible experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better kickoff to this new program. Want to know what made the day so special? Read on to find out!
🚀 The Adventure Begins
The day kicked off at our home base, **The Point in El Segundo**, where excitement was in the air as we gathered with our new Adventure Day crew. After some quick introductions and safety checks, we hit the road in the *Adventure Van* for our first stop: **Sky Zone Trampoline Park** in Torrance!
🤸♂️ Bounce into Action at Sky Zone
Imagine a place where the walls and floors are made of trampolines, and bouncing is the name of the game. That’s Sky Zone! Our campers couldn’t wait to jump, flip, and challenge each other to some friendly dodgeball matches. We saw flips, somersaults, and even some impressive mid-air dance moves—yes, the coaches joined in too! It was a morning filled with laughter, exercise, and pure joy as everyone jumped to their heart’s content.
🥪 Refuel and Recharge: Picnic Time!
After working up a serious appetite, we headed to a beautiful local park for a relaxing picnic lunch. The kids munched on delicious and snacks, recharged, and enjoyed a little downtime under the open sky. But in true Champ Camp fashion, it wasn’t long before the next round of games and activities kicked off — COaches then organized some classic games and our kiddos got a chance to play at the park!
🍦 Sweet Endings at Pressed Juicery
No Champ Camp Adventure Day would be complete without a sweet treat, right? To wrap things up, we headed back to The Point for a dessert celebration at **Pressed Juicery**, where the kids enjoyed their famous soft serve made from fresh-pressed fruit and veggies. 🍨 Their smiles said it all—our first Adventure Day was a total success!
