As the sun sets on our crazy summer season, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of the YOUS that make Champ Camp possible…

To our Champ Camp coaches on the sand and at the skateparks, thank YOU. Lead by a group of the most dedicated Directors we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, our team showed up every darn day to give the kiddos an impactful experience they won’t soon forget. This experience was more precious this summer than ever before, as we watched our campers get reacclimated to socializing with peers and venturing into new environments. Although not always easy, our compassionate crew came ready each day to play, listen, or even just hang, depending on the kids’ needs. Thank YOU!

To the Champ Camp kids who arrived each morning ready to party (and also those who needed a bit more convincing), thank YOU. In ways that us “grown-ups” may never fully grasp, the last eighteen months have been pretty rough on y’all. WIth school online, not seeing friends as much, and having to breathe your own breath in a mask all the time, 2020 & 2021 will go down in history as a pretty funky time to be a kid. But even still, you made it through and showed up all summer to let loose and make up for the lost time. Thank YOU!

To the Champ Camp parents, both returning and brand new this summer, thank YOU. As if being a parent isn’t already difficult and confusing enough, how you’re supposed to navigate your way through a pandemic while attempting to raise happy & healthy kids and retain some shred of sanity is way beyond our understanding. Our hats go off to you and we’re forever grateful to your families and the trust that you have in our team. Thank you for joining us on our journey this summer — we hope to get the chance to do it again sometime soon!
