In what has felt like a very long time in the making, we are STOKED to announce that we’re opening an online school! Champ Camp Academy is poised to open its browsers just in time for the holidays and we’re confident that you’re really going to dig it!

The elevator pitch version of our new endeavor is that Champ Camp Academy provides its students with cool courses that its coaches care about. If you’re reading this, you’ve most likely come to know us at the beach, the skatepark, or somewhere in between. Since 2012 our team has positively impacted the lives of thousands of kids across multiple settings, drawing on countless modalities. As our programs evolve, we’ve decided that it’s time to expand our reach even further and share our skills, interests, and philosophy with students around the world!

Our approach to Champ Camp Academy focuses on two sides of the same coin. The first side involves curating Epic courses that are derived from the worlds of our specific programs [i.e. Champ Camp Beach & Champ Camp Skate]. This is where Champ Camp Academy finds a jump off point, with its first two courses being “Skate 101” and “Fingerboard 101.” Taught by Coaches Elliott, Tim, and Trevor, these courses are designed for curious beginners looking to start a new journey from the comfort of their own home!

The other side of the coin, which will appear in courses down the line, involves sharing the foundational principles and philosophies that we’ve developed along our path with grown-ups who plan to facilitate engaging experiences for kids.
